The following FREE desktop softwares are what we consider important for Website development and SEO (search engine optimization). All software listed below are completely free!

 

Windows Software:

Komodo is a complete programmer's editor for Perl, PHP, Python, Ruby and Tcl; plus support for browser-side code including JavaScript, CSS, HTML and XML.
• NVU - HTML Editor
  HTML Editor. You can edit your Web pages without an HTML editor. NVU is a visual tool for making websites (WYSIWYG html editor), comparable to Dreamweaver.
• NoteTab - HTML & Text Editor
  HTML & Text Editor. You can edit your Web pages without an HTML editor. Notepad replacement and a handy HTML editor. Handle a heap of files with a simple tabbed interface. Search files, strip HTML tags and format text quickly.
